It's Not the Result You Have, It's the Fruit You Produce

The world demands results as proof of authority. "Show me what you've done right, and maybe I'll listen to you."

That's not entirely wrong, but it creates a mistaken mindset in us.

Jesus died on a cross. In the eyes of the world, He lost. In the eyes of the Jews who wanted to destroy Rome, He lost. But in the eyes of the Father, He won.

With a results-based mindset, it would make no sense to listen to Jesus.

Yet in the Kingdom of God, things are different, remember? The Kingdom is upside down. The first will be last, and the last will be first. Whoever dies, lives; whoever lives, dies.

In the world, life is measured by result — by the quantity of what you have or don't have: money, fame, success.

In the Kingdom, life is measured by the fruit you generate to feed other people. It's not about quantity but quality. What matters is how ripe and flavorful that fruit is, and how fertile the seeds it produces can be.

That is why Jesus told us to bear fruit that lasts! Because every fruit must carry a seed with the same DNA that generated it, perpetuating what was created.

We are fruit from twelve men who gave their lives. Their fruit has lasted!

The devil will always come against you using results, diminishing and discouraging you.

Jesus, on the other hand, always looks at the fruit and says to us: "Well done, good and faithful servant — you were faithful with a little; I will put you in charge of much."
